About the role
Remote-first frontend-focused role at Streak, a profitable YC startup building a Gmail-based CRM. Join a small, high-agency frontend team delivering high-impact product features and frontend infrastructure, reporting to the CEO/lead product efforts.
Responsibilities
- Build user-facing features across the full stack with a focus on frontend technologies for Streak and InboxSDK
- Own projects from start to finish and ship high-quality software that users love
- Design solutions and fill gaps in product specs when needed
- Review PRs, write documentation, and demo progress to grow the team
- Contribute to build, test, and deploy tooling for a browser-extension-based app
- Work on high-performance UI (e.g., collaborative realtime spreadsheets) and AI-driven features
- Collaborate asynchronously with a remote team, including design docs, Loom videos, and written communication
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience with modern frontend tooling like React and TypeScript
- Strong async/written communication skills
- High agency and urgency in navigating large codebases
- Ability to design solutions in a dynamic product environment
- Pragmatic mindset balancing new features with refactors/rewrites
- Willingness to share expertise and mentor others
