About the role
Founding Compiler Engineer role at Luminal, an YC-backed startup focused on optimizing AI models and deploying them to production with a single line of code. On-site in San Francisco, part of the founding team.
Responsibilities
- Writing CUDA kernels
- Assisting design of the core compiler
- Conducting model performance reviews
- Shitposting on social media (note: as described in the description; may be informal)
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in GPU model optimization
- Highly experienced with CUDA
- Highly experienced with Rust
- Experience with Egglog is a strong positive but not required
- No degree required
- Experience in developing and deploying AI models in production environments is a plus
