About the role

Biodock is hiring a full-stack web engineer to own and build Biodock’s cloud-based AI microscopy platform, working across the full stack from frontend to deployment and infra, and collaborating with backend/ML pipelines.

Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of Biodock's full-stack web platform, including deployments, infrastructure, monitoring, debugging, and reliability.
  • Work on the modern web stack to build dynamic analysis methods in the cloud.
  • Collaborate with backend engineers to coordinate AI and image processing pipelines with the web application.
  • Engage with multiple levels of the company to meet business goals and incorporate customer feedback.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of industry experience in a React/TypeScript stack with GraphQL/Apollo.
  • Strong product and design sense; eye for design is a bonus.
  • Frontend experience with React Canvas, WebGL, Web Worker Threads (highly desired).
  • Backend experience in data modeling, especially NoSQL/MongoDB.
  • Knowledge of algorithms, databases, UX implementation, debugging, and full-stack performance optimization.
  • Strong CS background with a degree in CS or a related field.
  • Flexible, trustworthy, energetic, and good communicator.
