Senior Software Engineer, Video FullStack Experience
About the role
Support integrations with NVRs, VMS, and video-capable devices, focusing on Flock's custom Video Management Software with a heavy emphasis on front-end development.
Responsibilities
- Support integrations with NVRs, VMS, and video devices, including drones.
- Contribute to the development and optimization of Flock's custom Video Management Software, especially the live video display.
- Design and implement APIs for video data exchange.
- Work cross-functionally with engineering and product teams.
- Contribute to the technical planning, architecture, and improvement of integrations.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in writing code.
- Experience with React or other Javascript frameworks and Typescript (Node).
- Proficient in UI performance optimization.
- Experience designing and implementing APIs.
- Experience with AWS, Kubernetes (EKS), Lambda, Docker.
- Experience with VMS and streaming technologies such as WebRTC, HLS, RTSP, FFmpeg, GStreamer (preferred but not required).
