About the role

Founding Engineer at Kontigo, a USDC-Smart Neobank for Latinos. Role focuses on Next.js web / React Native app development, integration with Supabase, Firebase, Prisma, Nest.js for WhatsApp, AI agents via OpenAI/Anthropic, Solidity/web3 for smart contracts, and heavy use of TypeScript.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and ship features for Next.js web and React Native app( s ).
  • Build and maintain backend services using Nest.js, Prisma, Supabase, and Firebase.
  • Integrate AI agents via OpenAI and Anthropic APIs.
  • Implement smart contracts using Solidity and web3.js.
  • Collaborate with founders to shape the product as a founding engineer.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in engineering
  • Experience with Next.js and React Native
  • Proficiency with TypeScript
  • Familiarity with Nest.js, Prisma, Supabase, Firebase
  • Knowledge of Solidity and smart contracts (web3.js) is a plus
  • Ability to operate in founder mode and contribute to strategic decisions

No limits. - Like Nubank & Revolut, but without inflationary currencies. Bitcoin-backed. User wallets are connected to an AI-private banker on WhatsApp to execute international USDC transactions.
