Senior Software Engineer
About the role
Atlas is building an operating system for restaurants to start, run, and grow brands online and offline in Southeast Asia. The role involves end-to-end development across backend APIs, databases, and frontend interfaces, collaborating with designers, PMs, operations, and infrastructure to build scalable features for hundreds of restaurants.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain features that power hundreds of restaurants across the web and mobile
- Talk to users, understand their problems, and design solutions they’ll love
- Work across backend (Ruby, Postgres) and frontend (React, React Native and JavaScript) systems
- Write clean, reliable, and maintainable code that’s easy to build upon
- Collaborate with designers, operations, and fellow engineers to ship quickly and safely
- Continuously improve performance, reliability, and developer experience
Qualifications
- 6+ years of software engineering experience
- You write high-quality, well-tested code
- Strong coding skills in Ruby on Rails and JavaScript
- Experience working with PostgreSQL
- Experience in GraphQL or is willing to learn
- Focusing on delighting customers, having abnormally high standards and being extremely reliable
