About the role
Senior Backend Engineer role at Atomic to design, develop, and architect microservices, primarily using Golang, in a cloud-native environment with Kubernetes and related tech.
Responsibilities
- Designing and developing highly scalable distributed systems and APIs in Golang
- Architecting microservices and contributing to architectural decisions
- Building and delivering production-grade services with a focus on reliability and scalability
- Developing secure and compliant systems (preferred)
- Collaborating within a technology-first, cloud-native stack (Kubernetes, Istio, OpenTelemetry)
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience designing and developing highly scalable distributed systems and APIs in Golang
- Computer Science degree or equivalent experience
- Strong fundamentals in data structures and algorithms
- Experience designing and implementing highly scalable and reliable REST APIs
- Experience delivering high-quality production services and systems
