About the role
Founding engineer role at Brainbase Labs, an AI labor company, focusing on shipping new features, scaling infrastructure (cloud and on-premise), and shaping the proprietary agent system as part of the founding team in San Francisco.
Responsibilities
- Shipping new features and iterating based on customer feedback
- Working one-on-one with CEO and founding team to influence product and culture
- Assisting with infrastructure scaling (cloud and on-premise)
- Improving the underlying proprietary agent system
Qualifications
- 2+ years of software engineering experience (new grads encouraged)
- Excellence with Typescript & Python
- Some experience with LLMs (OpenAI API, Langchain, HuggingFace, etc.)
- Demonstration of autonomy and entrepreneurial spirit (side projects, previous companies)
- In SF, or willing to relocate
- US work permit (we do not currently sponsor H1-Bs, OPTs are fine)
