Quality Assurance Manager
About the role
Leading and supporting quality assurance teams to enhance software quality at Webflow, a visual web development platform.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support a group of up to 8 direct reports.
- Contribute to the software delivery process, from exploratory testing to develop acceptance criteria, bug advocacy, and verification-based testing.
- Coordinate with product, engineering, and design managers to meet key objectives and advocate for quality.
- Empower your team by advocating for their needs and supporting their growth.
- Help shape company-wide processes and support other Engineering Managers.
- Attend and review team meetings and testing activities across multiple teams.
- Work on a highly technical platform that serves millions of users.
- Set clear expectations to foster success and transparency.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in a Software Quality Leadership role.
- Deep understanding of agile testing principles and team approach to quality.
- Strong testing background, preferably at a senior quality assurance position.
- Understanding of motivations through autonomy, mastery, and purpose.
- Embodies Servant Leadership and supports team growth.
- Empathy to deliver tough feedback with kindness and candor.
- Understanding of system designs of complex web and mobile applications.
