About the role

Software Engineering Intern at Comena, an AI startup building AI agents to automate order processing for industrial distributors and manufacturers. Role involves core engineering work, end-to-end feature development, AI-driven capabilities, and integration with customers’ ERP systems.

Responsibilities

  • Build full-stack features: Develop and ship core product functionality using our Typescript frontend and Python backend. Take features from idea to production, including UI, business logic, and cloud services.
  • Customer onboarding and implementation: Handle customer data and ERP integrations. Understand customers’ ERP setup and custom workflows.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the founders and customers to translate customer needs into technical solutions.

  • Has high agency
  • Ships full-stack apps quickly without compromising on code quality
  • Is comfortable being client-facing
  • Loves startups and running together to make something great happen
  • Wants to work very hard beyond traditional 9-5 hours
