About the role
Backend/Fullstack software engineer role at FurtherAI, a YC-backed startup building AI agents for insurance workflows. Remote with required overlap with PST and emphasis on scalable, high-performance backend systems in Python, contributing to core product and backend stack.
Responsibilities
- Build and evolve core product backend and/or fullstack features
- Ensure scalability and optimize performance of backend systems
- Continuously improve product to meet evolving needs and challenges
- Own significant parts of the backend stack as part of early team
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ship reliable software
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in building products in the 0 to 1 stage
- Experience building high-performant backend systems in Python
- Ability to communicate well, both in person and on paper
- Previous work at a B2B SaaS company is a bonus
- Insane drive and ownership - world-class performance prioritized
