About the role

Develops algorithms integrating biomedical signals to generate insights; handles signal processing, noise reduction, and real-time data analysis in health tech applications.

Responsibilities

  • Develop algorithms that incorporate multiple continuous biomedical signals into relevant insights.
  • Create tools to enhance signal quality and subtract noise artifacts.
  • Extract insights from biomedical signals, including features, events, and trends, both offline and in real-time.
  • Own problem domains with undefined solutions and lead delivery.
  • Support team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience working with physiological signals (dataset extraction, cleaning, analysis).
  • Strong background in exploratory and statistical data analysis.
  • Experience with time-series data, machine learning/deep learning models (e.g., tree-based models, LSTM, RNN).
  • Fluency in high-level programming languages (Python, C/C++, MATLAB).
  • Knowledge of ML frameworks (scikit-learn, pandas, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Masters/PhD in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or related fields, or equivalent work experience.
