About the role
Backend-focused software engineering role at Infinity, a YC-backed business banking platform for cross-border SMBs and startups. In-person, Bengaluru-based role with AWS and Java stack responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Backend API development. Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend microservices—primarily in Java & MySQL
- End-to-end development:- design, code, test, deploy and iterate.
- Manage AWS infrastructure, ensuring services are secure and performant
- Contribute to architectural decisions as the number of services and complexity grows.
- Collaborate closely with frontend engineers and designers to ship features fast and improve the user experience.
- Set up and monitor logging, debugging, and analytics pipelines to gain insights and ensure system reliability.
Qualifications
- BE/BTech. Computer Science or equivalent degree, undergraduate or higher
- 1-3 years of backend/full-stack engineering experience
- Experience with Java
- Experience with AWS
