About the role
Capix is seeking a Founding Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join the core engineering team building a precision search engine for private capital. This role is for a hands-on, high-impact engineer who can lead large projects, design scalable systems, and contribute across the stack.
Responsibilities
- Lead planning and execution of large projects with long-term impact on a single system or team
- Build and maintain full-stack applications with a focus on TypeScript, NextJS, React and Python
- Design scalable and secure backend systems and databases
- Develop and integrate cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Implement authentication, B2B SaaS security best practices, and secure API design
- Collaborate effectively with the founders and cross-functional teams
Qualifications
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- Experience planning and leading large projects with long-term impact
- Strong technical judgment and prioritization abilities
- Proficiency in TypeScript, NextJS, React and Python
- Backend development and database expertise, including scalable, secure systems
- Extensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Deep understanding of authentication and secure API design
- Familiarity with data pipeline tools like Airflow or Dagster is a bonus
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
