About the role

Axiom seeks a ZK Proof Engineer to implement and optimize cryptographic code for zero-knowledge proof generation, interfacing between low-level computer systems and cutting-edge zk proof systems, with responsibilities including developing efficient ZK circuits and optimizing provers.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and optimize cryptographic code for zero-knowledge proof generation.
  • Build systems to interface between low-level computer systems, compiler frameworks, and database backends.
  • Optimize ZK provers and implement novel ZK circuits.
  • Make design choices to enable rapid development of secure and efficient systems.

Qualifications

  • Strong background in math/cryptography or strong problem-solving skills and interest in zero-knowledge proofs.
  • Proficiency in Rust, C/C++, or similarly performant backend languages, with Rust being primary.
  • Detail-oriented with a security mindset.
  • Experience working on challenging software projects with an emphasis on performance.
  • Clear communicator who values collaboration.
  • Strong work ethic.
