About the role
Finch is seeking a Product Engineer to contribute to their innovative mental health app that combines wellness and gaming. The role involves end-to-end product development, cross-functional collaboration, and creating delightful, playful user experiences to make self-care engaging and accessible.
Responsibilities
- Play a critical role in growing and evolving Finch's app as the 5th engineer.
- Work with high autonomy and speed, involved in the end-to-end product development cycle from ideation to launch decisions.
- Influence norms and tools to create a high-performing engineering team.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product designers, creative designers, character animators, and founders.
- Be a thought partner in building a product, company, and culture.
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience building consumer products for mobile or full-stack environments.
- Product-centric mindset with pride in building experiences users love.
- Ability to quickly derisk new ideas, move with urgency in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience designing clean and maintainable APIs.
- Experience running A/B experiments and making data-informed decisions.
- Familiarity with engineering best practices for mobile apps and web, and building scalable products.
- Ability to simplify ambiguous and messy problems into elegant solutions.
