Founding Engineer
About the role
Founding Engineer at a rapidly growing Generative AI focused healthtech startup (Reviving Mind) building a multi-modal, voice-first AI-agent marketplace for healthcare, with 10-20% founder equity and strong YC pedigree.
Responsibilities
- AI strategy for SaaS clients (Providers, Health Systems/ACOs)
- Research and build cutting edge Voice and Text based conversational AI agents
- Develop consumable APIs to propagate back-office workflows and integrate with client systems (EHRs, etc)
- Manage stages of the continuous development and release process
- Translate designs and wireframes into high quality code
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an ML Engineer or similar role
- Understanding of ML/NLP techniques for text representation, semantic extraction, data structures and modeling
- Deep understanding of text representation techniques (e.g., n-grams, bag of words, sentiment analysis), statistics and classification algorithms; Experience with GPT
- Knowledge of Python (and some frontend React/NextJS)
- Ability to write robust and testable code
- Experience with machine learning frameworks (Keras, PyTorch) and libraries (scikit-learn)
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
- Benchmarketing and optimization mindset
- Ability to design software architecture
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills
- Ideal: PhD/MS in CS/EE or equivalent engineering experience
