About the role
Sales Development Representative (SDR) to support Kustomer's sales efforts with outbound lead generation, qualification, and appointment setting, primarily in New York City metro area with hybrid work arrangements.
Responsibilities
- Engaging with potential prospects over email and phone to qualify and set appointments for the account executives
- Identifying target customers for Kustomer through email, phone, and social channels
- Maintaining active engagement with leads through informed, creative follow-ups
- Researching and developing prospective accounts
- Working closely with account executives to identify qualified accounts and define strategies for outreach
- Partnering with marketing to deliver proper messaging and identify the best target market segments
- Achieving quarterly quotas for developed leads and closed Sales
- May involve handling sensitive personal data
Qualifications
- 6 months of inbound/outbound sales experience (may include internships), previous work with sales/startups preferred
- Ability to quickly engage potential customers over email, phone, and in person
- Clear, concise, and accurate communications (written and verbal)
- Excitement about AI and quickly mapping it to sales processes
- Grit and resilience in the face of rejection
- Desire to progress career
- Effective time management to complete objectives
- Experience being accountable to metrics, often exceeding them
- Thrives in a high-energy team environment
