About the role

Supabase is hiring a remote, APAC-based Support Engineer to provide world-class developer support across a range of topics, collaborate with product and growth teams, and help continuously improve support efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Provide initial and timely responses to all support cases for topics ranging from billing/pre-sales to optimization or implementation questions.
  • Triage support cases by directing users to prior answers, code examples, documentation, or escalating to specific technical or business team members.
  • Monitor multiple feedback channels (e.g., Github Issues & Discussions).
  • Identify opportunities to develop or obtain internal tooling to improve support efficiency.
  • Reproduce issues, create test cases and improve test coverage (if you have testing experience).

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in customer/developer support for technical customers.
  • Proficient in SQL (ideally PostgreSQL); comfortable with complex SQL queries; database administration experience is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
  • Skilled with Linux/Unix operating systems and the command line.
  • Experience with GitHub Issues and Discussions.
  • Bonus: familiarity with React, Vue, Svelte and some Node.js experience.
  • Computer Science degree is a plus.
