About the role

Customer Solutions Architect (CSA) to drive adoption of Supabase across a range of customers, from startups to established brands. Responsible for the entire customer journey including discovery, proof-of-value onboarding, and ongoing customer success, acting as a trusted advisor and advocate for customers within Supabase.

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical discovery to uncover business and technical objectives, set expectations for the platform, and define success criteria.
  • Design, build, and present Supabase platform demonstrations to high-value customers; leverage storytelling to communicate value.
  • Collaborate with Growth to size deals, provide usage estimates, and identify workloads supported by the platform.
  • Collaborate with customers to determine technical scope of proof-of-value; set timelines, outcomes, and success criteria.
  • Guide new customers through onboarding via emails, docs, guides, and webinars to promote rapid deployment and growth.
  • Understand customer goals (onboarding/adoption) and long-term opportunities to build meaningful account plans for high-value customers.
  • Deliver synchronous and asynchronous engagements including architecture assessments, database design and performance optimization, and proactive support for scaling.
  • Act as internal champion for customers and the platform; provide feedback to Support, Product, and Engineering; communicate roadmaps to customers.
  • Invest in relationships and build trust with production data stores across startups and enterprises.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of relevant experience in Solutions Architecture, Database Engineering, or similar.
  • Strong background with relational database management systems such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
  • Web application development experience with Python, C#, and popular JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, Svelte) as well as Node.js.
  • Excellent communication skills, especially translating technical concepts for business impact.
  • Well-organized, effective storytelling and interpersonal skills to navigate multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience with project management, business analysis, and revenue operations tools (e.g., HubSpot, BigQuery).
  • Previous experience leading customer-facing engagements to deliver meaningful technical and business value.
