About the role

Forward Deployed Product Manager (FDPM) focused on customer outcomes by translating customer feedback into internal product requirements and guiding solutions built on the Fireworks platform for AI models and GenAI workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Engage directly with customers from startups to large enterprises to identify use cases and drive long-term usage and expansion
  • Define and propose tailored solutions and POCs that demonstrate Fireworks’ platform value in real customer environments
  • Lead onboarding and implementation efforts including fine-tuning workflows, latency benchmarks, API integration, and infrastructure alignment
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers, helping shape their GenAI strategy using Fireworks infrastructure
  • Translate customer insights into structured product definitions, identifying common themes and high-leverage feature requests
  • Collaborate with engineering and applied ML teams to align customer needs with the technical roadmap
  • Drive execution of product development and ensure successful landings with customers
  • Oversee Fireworks roadmap to reflect customer needs

Qualifications

  • Strong technical background (CS/EECE) or technical product management experience
  • Intimate familiarity with LLMs, fine-tuning, model inference, agents, etc.
  • 2 - 5+ years of experience in products for software engineers
  • Strong customer interaction skills with deep customer success focus
  • Ability to communicate highly technical concepts to diverse audiences, including latest AI developments
  • Focus on driving outcomes beyond technical milestones
  • Ability to navigate complex customer/technical scenarios and craft creative solutions
