About the role
Senior Manager role providing comprehensive financial and business advisory services to private owner-run companies, including family-owned businesses and start-ups, with outsourced accounting, cash flow modeling, financial reporting, financing support, succession planning, tax planning, risk management, system/process optimization, and M&A integration.
Responsibilities
- Provide outsourced accounting services, cash flow modeling, and financial reporting for private owner-run companies including family-owned businesses and start-ups.
- Represent companies in securing loans & financing, develop succession plans & exit strategies, and support growth through tax planning, risk management, system & process optimization, and M&A integration.
Qualifications
- Active CPA license
- BS/BA degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in public accounting and industry within an accounting function
- Minimum 3-5 years related experience in a family owned business, family enterprise, family office, multi-family office, or wealth management accounting environment catering to UHNW individuals
- Experience with data conversions, interfaces/integrations, reporting and customization within various ERP systems
- Experience with multiple entity accounting (trusts, LLCs, LPs, partnerships) preferred
- Experience with Insurance renewals, bill pay tools (RAMP, Bill.com, Brex, Expensify) and similar tools
- Experience using QuickBooks, Intacct and NetSuite and/or other accounting packages
- Demonstrated management experience and ability to mentor junior staff
- Strong research skills for complex technical accounting issues
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- High energy, entrepreneurial spirit
