About the role

Long-term internship as instructional teaching assistant for teacher education students at a German international school in Singapore, supporting primary and secondary levels with a focus on diversity, inclusion, differentiation, and co-teaching.

Responsibilities

  • The job description provides context and aims (instructional teaching assistant at primary school up to grade 5 or secondary school grade 6 to 9).
  • Assist in classroom instruction and support teachers in delivering lessons.
  • Support for diversity and inclusion, differentiation, and co-teaching as expressly desired.

Qualifications

  • Students of teacher education (BA, MA or first state examination)
  • Ideal candidates are studying for primary, secondary, or high school teacher education, with subjects including Mathematics and/or German/German as a foreign language/German as second language as well as Biology, Chemistry, Physics, French and/or English and/or Spanish.
  • Experience with and openness to diversity and inclusion, differentiation and co-teaching.
