Software Engineer (Remote)
About the role
Keye is building the diligence layer for private equity with AI. This role is a hands-on, full-stack engineering position focused on designing and shipping scalable AI-driven systems for live deal analysis, data ingestion, and deterministic core computations, with hybrid or remote North America-based work.
Responsibilities
- Deepen the agent layer with primitives for scaling and tool-use design
- Own the deterministic core for deal analysis and artifact retrieval
- Build evals and test harnesses to catch regressions
- Harden the ingestion layer to handle unknown schemas and edge cases in data rooms
- Own the infrastructure to keep the platform fast under real load (concurrency, queues, caching, cost)
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience
- Broad across the stack; comfortable with system-level thinking
- Languages/tools: Python/React
- Obsessive about testing (E2E, integration, browser)
- Experience building and operating production systems with real consequences
- Founders encouraged (previous entrepreneurship experience)
