About the role

An experienced mobile engineer responsible for delivering pixel-perfect, delightful mobile experiences. Collaborates with designers, defines the mobile UX, and executes with vision to create an excellent mobile product experience.

Responsibilities

  • Implement pixel-perfect designs
  • Define delightful gestures to improve the user experience
  • Make thoughtful tradeoffs between speed, correctness, and long-term maintainability
  • Talk with users and use the product yourself to understand real-world needs and opportunities
  • Take on tasks that stretch your abilities and close skill gaps quickly
  • Contribute to a culture of ownership, ambition, and fast-paced learning

Qualifications

  • A strong technical foundation from a top CS program or equivalent hands-on experience building React Native apps
  • Evidence of high quality taste in mobile experiences
  • High empathy for teammates and users
  • Solid programming fundamentals with comfort in TypeScript and React Native
  • Experience working in fast-paced environments while balancing care with urgency
