About the role

Founding AI Engineer role at Nowadays, an AI-native platform for planning corporate events. Build and scale AI systems and agents to automate end-to-end event planning, improve LLM accuracy, and shape the AI/ML architecture from the ground up.

Responsibilities

  • Build and scale AI systems that automate our event-planning workflow end-to-end
  • Develop and scale AI agents for auto-emailing, calling, web scraping, and deep research
  • Improve accuracy and reduce hallucinations across our LLM-powered features
  • Design and implement scalable AI workflows using modern LLM frameworks and tools
  • Work with real customer data to identify automation opportunities and validate AI solutions
  • Build evaluation systems to measure and improve AI performance over time
  • Partner closely with product and ops teams to understand pain points and ship AI features that matter
  • Shape our AI/ML architecture and practices from the ground up

Qualifications

  • Experience building and deploying AI / LLM systems in production
  • Strong proficiency in Python and modern AI/LLM frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, etc.)
  • Deep understanding of prompt engineering, RAG, and techniques to improve LLM accuracy
  • Experience with AI agents, tool calling, and autonomous systems
  • Comfort with full-stack development and shipping features end-to-end
  • Bias toward action—moving fast, experimenting, and iterating based on real-world results
  • Excitement about pushing the boundaries of what AI can automate in complex workflows
