About the role

Build and maintain core software products supporting a three-sided roofing marketplace, including portals, workflows, and integrations. Focus on software development in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Ship features, automations, and integrations in Typescript and Next.js
  • Solve complex bugs spanning across the proprietary roofing stack
  • Invest in platform-wide improvements for security, reliability, and performance
  • Lead and collaborate with team members to solve difficult technical problems
  • Partner with product managers and designers to deliver on an ambitious roadmap

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • Ability to solve difficult, ambiguous technical problems independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Deep familiarity with one or more aspects of modern web development (frontend, databases, networking, etc)
  • Fundamental knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript and how the web works
  • High attention to detail
  • Great verbal and written communication skills
