About the role

Software Engineer role at Maxima focusing on building and improving core parts of the product with a primary focus on either backend or frontend, shipping end-to-end features, and working with customers and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Backend focus: build the systems that handle high-volume financial data, accounting workflows, and the infrastructure behind our agentic AI platform
  • Frontend focus: build intuitive, reliable user experiences for complex enterprise workflows, working closely with product and design
  • Ship features end to end with other engineers, product managers, and customers

Qualifications

  • 2 or more years building product at high-growth companies
  • Familiarity with web development, relational databases, and distributed systems
  • Experience with TypeScript, React, Redux, or similar frameworks
