About the role

Deployment lead responsible for post-sale customer deployments, onboarding, adoption, expansions, renewals, and coordinating capture efforts to enable defense/space customers to adopt Usul solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the deployment lead of Usul for a portfolio of defense and space companies, owning onboarding/training, enterprise adoption, expansion and renewals.
  • Run the capture process for AI companies for our Services business: coordinating with consultants and government affairs to help carve a path for commercial rocketship companies to expand into the government.
  • Coordinate complex product onboarding paths from defense-tech startups to Fortune 500 companies ensuring users maximize Usul’s value to transform defense contracting outcomes.
  • Lead commercial upsell/cross-sell expansions within every account.
  • Own customer health using metrics on accounts to increase retention, reduce churn and close renewals.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Product and Engineering influencing product roadmap and customer interaction strategy.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of consulting/strategy experience with large, traditional industries (McKinsey, Bain, BCG preferred)
  • Defense contract experience (proposals or understanding of the process)
  • High agency and ability to context switch quickly
  • Willingness to travel 1-2 times per month for client engagements
  • Entrepreneurial experience and mindset with ability to build from scratch and execute
  • High EQ
  • In-office availability and ability to work fast 5 days per week in San Francisco or DC
