About the role
Senior, hands-on infrastructure role focused on developer productivity, build reliability, and operational scale. Owns CI/CD pipelines, Bazel build/test systems, cloud infrastructure, and Kubernetes services to enable engineers to ship reliably at scale.
Responsibilities
- CI/CD Ownership: Design and operate GitHub-based CI/CD systems (GitHub Actions, checks, workflows) with a focus on reliability, speed, and signal quality.
- Build Systems: Own and evolve Bazel-based build and test infrastructure that supports C++, Python, Rust, and Typescript-based development.
- Infrastructure Engineering: Build and maintain Kubernetes-based services and cloud infrastructure using Terraform and infrastructure-as-code.
- Automation & Self-Service: Replace manual release, provisioning, and access workflows with automated, GitHub-integrated systems.
- Reliability & Throughput: Reduce flaky builds, failed deploys, and CI bottlenecks that slow engineering velocity.
- Cross-Team Enablement: Partner with engineers across the stack to make builds, tests, and deploys predictable and fast.
Qualifications
- Strong experience operating GitHub-centric development workflows at scale.
- Deep familiarity with CI/CD systems and build reliability challenges.
- Experience with Bazel or similar large-scale build systems.
- Proficiency in cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
- Strong instincts for developer experience and operational leverage.
