About the role

Founding Forward Deployed Engineer at Flair Labs responsible for leading voice AI integrations with customer ecosystems, building scalable deployment patterns, and shaping AI-driven needs analysis and personalized learning experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Own deep customer integrations: Design and implement integrations with core customer systems (CRM, LOS and other source systems); API integrations real-time within calls and downstream workflow; Ensure integrations are reliable, scalable, and easy for customers to adopt; Act as the technical owner of complex, high-impact deployments.
  • Build and productize integrations: Expand, harden, and shape Flair’s API to support template-based, repeatable integrations; Self-serve or partner-led integrations with minimal Flair involvement; Define patterns, tooling, documentation, and best practices; Partner with core engineering to build out APIs and services.
  • Forward-deployed engineering for AI needs analysis: Gather and map customer requirements; Deliver end-to-end experiences that can scale and expand after initial implementation; Ensure solutions feel native to customers’ organizations.

Qualifications

  • Senior-level experience as a Solutions Engineer, Forward Deployed Engineer, or similar customer-facing technical role
  • Strong background in APIs, integrations, and data pipelines
  • Comfort working directly with customers on ambiguous, high-impact problems
  • Ability to think tactically (shipping integrations) and strategically (building scalable systems)
  • Experience collaborating with product, engineering, sales, and customer success
