Graduate Product Engineer
About the role
Graduation-level engineering role at Invopop focused on owning backend integrations end-to-end, researching new countries/systems, making product decisions, and supporting customers. Hands-on build with Golang, in-person Madrid role with a strong emphasis on shipping production code and direct customer interaction.
Responsibilities
- Own one or more Apps from research to production
- Design and build backend integrations in Golang
- Investigate new countries and systems: read docs, interpret requirements, ask questions, and turn ambiguity into a clear plan
- Make product decisions with support: what to build first, what to cut, when to ship
- Support customers using your integrations and iterate based on real feedback
Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science or Telecommunications Engineering, or proven track record building software outside formal education
- Evidence of exceptional ability: top of your class, standout projects, or similar
- Builder mindset: side projects, open-source contributions, hackathons
- Fluent English (spoken and written)
