About the role

A hands-on DevOps Engineer role focused on building and scaling secure, reliable, and cost-efficient infrastructure for a startup, working across cloud environments, CI/CD, observability, security, and performance.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and operate cloud infrastructure across multi-cloud environments
  • Improve uptime, reliability, performance, and cost efficiency
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code
  • Strengthen security posture across cloud, application, secrets, access control, and runtime environments
  • Partner with engineering to improve build speed, release quality, and operational maturity
  • Implement and maintain monitoring, alerting, logging, and incident response processes
  • Support enterprise customer requirements around security, scalability, compliance, and architecture
  • Troubleshoot production issues quickly and systematically
  • Write code and scripts to automate operational work and eliminate manual toil

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, Platform Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, and/or Azure
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar CI/CD tools
  • Solid scripting or coding in Python, Go, Bash, or JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Strong understanding of Linux systems, networking, IAM, secrets management, and production debugging
  • Familiarity with security tooling and concepts, including vulnerability management and cloud security best practices
  • Experience supporting high-availability production systems
  • Ability to operate independently and make sound engineering tradeoffs
