About the role

Recent software engineering graduates to join Color for developing programs and technology in healthcare, focusing on cancer care and at-home testing programs.

Responsibilities

  • Work on new programs and technologies related to cancer screening, risk assessment, and survivorship.
  • Learn and apply software engineering best practices including design, review, testing, monitoring, and collaboration.
  • Contribute to projects such as patient messaging platform, AI-driven automation, automated billing, and infrastructure for developer tools.

Qualifications

  • Graduated (or expect to graduate) between May 2025 and June 2026 with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience with web development and modern web stacks including Python, Django, AWS, SQL, REST APIs, React, HTML5, CSS3, ES6+.
  • Familiarity with AI tools, ML/AI application, and building or integrating LLM-powered features is a plus.
  • Passion for using technology to help save lives and prevent disease.
  • Interest in rigorous engineering practices and collaboration with technical/non-technical team members.
