About the role

DevOps Engineer role at Apple focusing on building and managing release tooling, automating operations, and implementing scalable CI/CD and platform solutions for a large enterprise. Collaboration with global teams and exposure to on-prem, private, and public cloud environments, with a focus on applying emerging AI/ML and GenAI tooling to improve delivery speed, reliability, security, and scalability.

Responsibilities

  • Primarily responsible for building and managing tools that enable software releases in a fast paced enterprise environment
  • Designing and implementing new solutions to streamline manual operations, expanding the capacity and performance of current operational systems
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging AI/ML and DevOps technologies, applying them to improve speed to delivery, mean time to detect/resolve, security and scalability
  • Operate with on-prem, private, and public cloud platforms
  • Partnering closely with global software development teams and infrastructure teams

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in DevOps, systems engineering, build/release/deployment automation, etc.
  • Ability to program in a high-level programming languages or scripting, such Java, Python, Shell, or Golang, etc.
  • Experience with software tooling to deliver infrastructure and building CI/CD pipeline with tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, Ansible, or Spinnaker toolset
  • Experience implementing applications in private/public cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP) and container technologies, like Kubernetes and Docker
  • Experience with integrating GenAI or MCP driven tools into DevOps workflows (intelligent code assistance, anomaly detection, automated tests/builds) or components that tackle internal use-cases
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work related experience
