About the role

Apple Retail Technical Expert with extensive troubleshooting and repair skills for iPhone and other Apple products. Responsible for diagnosing and repairing hardware and software issues, educating customers on options, sharing knowledge with the team, and contributing to an inclusive, high-quality customer experience in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and resolve service concerns for select Apple hardware and software.
  • Provide excellent service to Apple customers by understanding their needs and educating them on relevant ways to buy.
  • Perform repairs on iPhone and other Apple products as required and educate customers about repair options and Apple products and services.
  • Deepen knowledge of Apple products, services, and Genius Bar repair processes to support efficient and high-quality repairs.
  • Support customers with care and empathy using all tools and resources provided by Apple.
  • Identify recurring repair problems and service concerns with team leaders and provide feedback to Apple.
  • Use extensive knowledge of hardware and software components to identify root causes and educate others.
  • Perform other tasks as needed, including customer-facing activities on or off the sales floor.
  • Contribute to an inclusive environment and uphold Apple’s values of inclusion and diversity.

Qualifications

  • Experience in retail or sales, or related work experience.
  • Visual inspection and fine motor skills to safely perform hardware repairs.
  • Experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues in a customer service environment.
