About the role

Senior Manager at Apple Retail responsible for creating a positive customer interaction environment, driving performance goals, developing managers, and partnering with Store Leader on business strategies and critical decisions. Leads a team, participates in Floor Leadership, addresses escalations, and executes operational strategy to meet store priorities while upholding Apple’s values of inclusion and diversity.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team (including Managers), empowering each team member to learn, grow, and achieve performance and developmental goals.
  • Assist with recruiting, training, developing, and retaining a diverse, high-performing team.
  • Actively participate in Floor Leadership by interacting with team members and customers throughout the store, modeling what good looks like, and ensuring business priorities are met and exceptional customer service is delivered.
  • Address customer and team member concerns and escalations, and partner with leadership and key business or People partners when appropriate.
  • Drive business priorities and achieve store performance goals by establishing, planning, and executing the operational strategy of assigned functional areas and the entire store.
  • Maintain and uphold company policies and procedures, and protect all company assets, including confidential business, customer, team member, and financial information.
  • Contribute to an inclusive environment by respecting differences and learning, demonstrating inclusive leadership, and building diverse teams.
  • Take action to create a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all team members.

Qualifications

  • Be available to work a schedule based on business needs that may include nights, weekends, and public holidays in the retail store, and reliably attend work as scheduled, in line with local laws and subject to approved accommodations.
  • Have 3 years of leadership experience in retail, sales, or a related field.
  • Be proficient in English and the local language, both written and spoken (sign language supported).
