Power Electronics Design and Integration Engineer (HWEE) – Wireless Power Division

About the role

Power design engineer leading the integration of inductive wireless power technology into Apple products, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define requirements, develop HW/SW interfaces, and drive hardware verification and production readiness.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and designing wireless power systems.
  • Write requirements, specifications, and test plans for both hardware and FW.
  • Define factory tests, test limits and perform failure analysis with factory and peers.
  • Guide the team in developing algorithms, state-transition diagrams/flowcharts and analysis for each operation regime.
  • Travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

  • Solid EE fundamentals in both analog and digital design.
  • Circuit level simulation experience (Cadence/ADS/LTspice, etc.).
  • Familiar with USB, SPMI, SPI, I2C and UART; low power embedded systems (e.g., ARM cores).
  • Proficient in modeling, data collection/analysis and statistical analysis tools (Python, JMP, Matlab).
  • Strong communication, team leadership, and ability to lead multi-discipline trade studies.
  • Bachelor/Master/PhD in EE or related field; GPA requested for graduating students/fresh graduates.
