About the role

Characterize Apple's embedded GPUs to optimize power and performance. Plan, implement, and execute validation plans focusing on power and performance features for embedded GPUs. Collaborate with design, verification, productization, hardware, and software teams; perform test planning, execution, data analysis, failure triage, and tool development to maximize performance and minimize power usage.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and drive improvements in silicon-based characterization methodology
  • Design, execute, and communicate plans to perform characterization work
  • Configure system HW and SW for silicon characterization
  • Lead failure triage and debug of underlying issues
  • Develop, maintain, and improve automation tools

Qualifications

  • Minimum BS and 3+ years of relevant industry experience
  • Experience with power and performance estimation and optimization
  • Experience working in a lab environment
  • Experience with Python
