About the role

Lead Apple’s medical device policy advocacy across APAC, coordinating with Regulatory, Clinical, Government Affairs and other teams to accelerate access to Apple’s medical device features in the region.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Apple medical device policy within APAC and represent the Health team on initiatives and programs to boost Apple’s presence in the region.
  • Oversee and manage Apple Health’s policy goals in APAC and establish coalitions and teams to advocate for expanding Apple’s presence in health within the region.
  • Work closely with stakeholders across Health including Regulatory, Clinical, Government Affairs and other organizations to pave the way for innovative Health features in APAC.

Qualifications

  • B.S. degree or equivalent in a lifescience, legal or business discipline
  • Demonstrable background in being autonomous and able to work towards established goals with minimal oversight
  • Proven competence in determining regulatory requirements across various jurisdictions and policies for new products or product changes
  • Strong ability to identify and convene stakeholders
  • Proven ability to operate within the APAC region
  • Specific expertise in navigating regulatory complexities within China
  • Strong organizational and management skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • M.S/ PhD/ post-secondary education preferred
