About the role

Lead Apple’s medical device policy within APAC, driving advocacy efforts for Apple’s medical devices features and boosting Apple’s presence in the region to accelerate access. Collaborate with Regulatory, Clinical, Government Affairs, and other teams to pave the way for innovative Health features in APAC and establish coalitions to advocate for Apple’s health initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • - Lead Apple medical device policy within APAC and represent the Health team on diverse initiatives and programs
  • - Oversee and manage Apple Health’s policy goals in APAC
  • - Establish coalitions and teams to advocate for expanding Apple’s presence in health within the APAC region
  • - Work closely with stakeholders across Health including Regulatory, Clinical, Government Affairs and other organizations
  • - Drive advocacy efforts for Apple’s medical devices features across APAC and accelerate access for these features

Qualifications

  • - B.S. degree or equivalent in a lifescience, legal or business discipline
  • - Demonstrable autonomous working style with ability to establish goals and initiatives with minimal oversight
  • - Proven competence in determining regulatory requirements across jurisdictions for new products or product changes
  • - Strong ability to identify and convene stakeholders
  • - Proven ability to operate within the APAC region
  • - Specific expertise in navigating regulatory complexities within China
  • - Strong organizational and management skills
  • - Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • - M.S/ PhD/ post-secondary education preferred
