About the role

Software engineer role on the Health Research Applications team focused on building a secure and private platform for health research. Collaborates with UI design, clinical, and data engineering experts to collect data and enable health research on Apple devices and sensors using Swift, Objective-C, SwiftUI, CoreData, and CloudKit in Xcode.

Responsibilities

  • Defining and implementing new features to enable health research
  • Prototyping new ideas to help with feature definition
  • Participating in architecture and code reviews
  • Growing engineering excellence such as through focus on testability and quality
  • Communicating ideas to cross functional partners including design, clinical, and data engineering
  • Building internal tools as needed to help ship high quality software

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience with Swift and/or Objective-C coding
  • Knowledge of Apple platforms and frameworks
  • Record of producing testable, high quality software
  • BS Computer Science or equivalent experience
