About the role

Lead testing efforts at manufacturing facilities to ensure Beats hardware and software meet high-quality standards. High-visibility role requiring excellent troubleshooting, remote analysis, and cross-functional collaboration; responsibilities include creating and training factory resources, analyzing and reporting test results, characterizing hard-to-reproduce defects, and managing test plans and defect tracking.

Responsibilities

  • Create, document and train factory resources on testing Beats HW and SW.
  • Be responsible for analyzing and reporting test results to cross-functional teams.
  • Utilize your excellent QA background to characterize defects that rarely reproduce.
  • Manage defect tracking, publish test plans, report, and own the test case execution by the test team.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years SQA experience, strong background in Quality Assurance along with experience in program management.
  • Experience with Bluetooth/Wifi Technologies.
  • Experience of testing audio products (headphones, speakers/soundbars, MP3 players, fitness trackers, set-top box, etc.).
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
  • 2+ years experience as an SQA lead.
  • Experience of working with multi-functional teams to coordinate testing.
  • Experience in building resource plans.
  • Digital Audio Knowledge.
  • Scripting experience of Perl, shell, Applescript or JavaScript.
  • Sustaining engineering experience.
  • Work very well independently, focused and responsible.
  • A proven track record demonstrating the ability to drive to milestones and goals.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.
