About the role

Machine Learning Engineer for Video Computer Vision (VCV) Face and Body technologies at Apple. Participate in end-to-end ML development for computer vision and graphics applications, from data collection and processing to model design, experiments, validation, and deployment on iOS and VisionOS. Collaborate with ML, data, and software engineers to ship features and solve challenges in human representation and motion.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the whole ML cycle from data collection design and data processing to model design and experiments to validation and QA in the wild.
  • Perform applied research development to adapt state-of-the-art methods or implement new methods to ship features on iOS and VisionOS platforms.
  • Work closely with other ML engineers as well as data and software engineers both internally and cross-functionally.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience working on ML projects for computer vision / graphics applications.
  • Software engineering skills and proficiency in Python.
  • Experience with PyTorch.
  • BA/BS degree in computer vision, computer graphics, machine learning or related field.
