About the role

Role focused on designing, developing, debugging cellular protocol software across multiple layers for 3GPP technologies, with emphasis on NR/LTE protocols and end-to-end system understanding. Collaborates across teams to deliver seamless wireless connectivity and customer experiences on Apple devices.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and debug cellular protocol software in various layers.
  • Perform architecture, design, and code reviews with different engineers/teams.
  • Identify and solve everyday problems for customers using iPhone, iPad, Watch and other wireless product lines.

Qualifications

  • MS/PhD in CS/EE
  • Good programming skills in one or more of C/C++, OC or Swift
  • Good knowledge of wireless communication or computer network
  • Strong debugging and problem solving skills
  • Experienced in NR/LTE protocol AS/L2 as plus
  • Deep knowledge of LTE or NR cross layers as well as end to end system as plus
