About the role

Accenture Construct is seeking a Senior Cost Manager to lead cost estimating, cost planning, value engineering and lifecycle costing for large-scale programs (data centers, grids, rail, factories, public infrastructure). Role involves onsite client work, risk management, procurement support, and collaboration across project teams to ensure cost effectiveness and successful delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare cost estimates, cost plans, and benchmarking reports.
  • Develop Value Engineering and Life Cycle Costing options.
  • Identify risks, support risk registers, and contribute to pre-contract and procurement processes.
  • Attend client and design team meetings, advise on cost implications, and capture key actions.
  • Assist with lease negotiations, change orders, invoices, cost reports, and development appraisals.
  • Contribute to project templates, draft qualification questionnaires, and take on additional duties as required.
  • Onsite at client site: The work location for this role is onsite with our clients and partners to enable delivery and cultivate our client relationships.
  • There is some in-person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders and communities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 5 years of minimum cost management experience
  • MRICS or on the path to chartership preferred
  • Proficient in the use of advanced functions in CostX to produce estimates, bills, etc.
  • Proficient in the required functions in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) at an appropriate level
  • Knowledge of pre and post contract tasks expected to meet KPI's and deliver success to the client
