About the role
Founding Engineer role at Miravoice in Palo Alto, CA. Own architecture, ship features, and shape product direction with the founders. Responsibilities
- Design architecture and ship features in collaboration with the founders
- Define product vision and contribute to technical direction
- Co-author and publish novel research
- Interact with customers directly and travel to conferences if desired
- Contribute to building and scaling voice AI systems for complex conversations and large call volumes
- Build out critical user flows for the customer-facing product console
Qualifications
- Strong generalist software engineering skills (frontend, backend, distributed systems, or AI/ML)
- Bonus if experience with speech/voice systems
- Product-minded with focus on user experience
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience building and shipping products in a startup or fast-paced environment
- Willingness to wear many hats in an early-stage company
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or Statistics
