About the role

Internship with high autonomy to build software that directly impacts Neuralink's mission, partnering with engineers and scientists to develop tools and data platforms across full-stack domains.

Responsibilities

  • Work directly alongside engineers and scientists to build software with immediate impact
  • Balance hands-on coding with collaboration to understand workflows and build appropriate tools
  • Architect and implement elegant software solutions with creative approaches
  • Develop applications such as data platforms for diverse data (neural signals, device telemetry, surgery recordings, experimental data), Lab Systems software, ERP software, and DevOps/infrastructure to boost productivity

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience shipping a product that has been actively used
  • Full-stack engineering capability (Ruby on Rails and React/TypeScript preferred, though adaptability matters)
  • Ability to design and implement simple and elegant software solutions
  • Strong communication and collaborative problem-solving abilities
  • Ownership mentality and comfort with ambiguity
  • Understanding of how software works at a fundamental level
