About the role

Senior engineer responsible for owning and maintaining Applied Intuition's HD maps end-to-end, including map formats, data pipelines, storage, UIs, and SDKs, in collaboration with engineers and customers.

Responsibilities

  • Lead HD maps implementation and own related feature areas across all of our products
  • Define our map storage format to handle more features and distribute map data focusing on UIs, data pipelines and storage, and SDKs
  • Collaborate with engineers and customers on existing and future designs and features

Qualifications

  • Experience building software components or (sub) systems that address real-world mapping and localization challenges
  • 2+ years of experience working in either autonomous vehicles or simulation products
  • Working knowledge of C++ and/or Python
