About the role

Role within AMD's Advanced System Development (ASD) team focused on system-level technologies to optimize power, performance, and user experience across next-generation computing platforms. Collaborates across platform architecture, power/performance engineering, validation, release engineering, and software teams to translate requirements into scalable engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Translate product requirements into engineering specifications and technical solutions
  • Participate in end-to-end feature development from requirements through validation and release
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure successful feature integration
  • Analyze system-level interactions involving CPU, memory, operating systems, and peripherals
  • Support design reviews, validation activities, and feature optimization efforts
  • Drive engineering problem-solving through data analysis and systems thinking
  • Contribute to scalable, maintainable, and reusable engineering solutions
  • Partner with subject matter experts to evaluate technical tradeoffs and platform capabilities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related Engineering Discipline (preferred)
